Atlantic Pacific Media Expands West Coast Presence
In a careful and strategically planned move that adds manufacturing capacity as well as national and global reach, the Northeast’s leading media manufacturer has opened a new videotape and DVD facility in Irvine, California. This is the fifth facility in the Atlantic Pacific Media family of companies, which includes facilities in Boston (Video Transfer), Las Vegas, Nevada (Transfer West Duplication), Southborough, Massachusetts (High Speed Video) and Rockville, Maryland (Video Labs).
The Atlantic Pacific Media opening adds ten more staff members, and a facility that includes world class DVD authoring, Optical Disc manufacturing services, CD/DVD duplication, and broadcast services as well as professional high-grade VHS duplication. Atlantic Pacific Media houses every worldwide format from High Definition and Digital Betacam to VHS. Additionally, Atlantic Pacific Media is capable of feeding your tape or disc content through a worldwide digital network for instantaneous delivery.
Industry veteran Karl Renwanz, President of Atlantic Pacific Media, states that, “this new facility will not only give us a more prominent west coast presence, but will also give our clientele an abundance of options around the country to manufacture, package and distribute their media.” Renwanz emphasized, “The breadth and depth of our tape and optical media format capabilities offers benefits found in few facilities in the U.S.”
The opening of Atlantic Pacific Media in California brings the overall group of five companies to 160 full time employees and adds another strategic region for media manufacturing to the group.
Atlantic Pacific Media’s dominant presence in the Northeast and mid-Atlantic area coupled with its west coast facilities gives them expanded reach for videotape and optical disc manufacturing capabilities. “We are very excited about our new facility and the complete line of high-end worldwide videotape and optical disc formats we can now offer to our customers,” said Karl Renwanz.
All five U.S. facilities offer twenty-four hour operation and a range of services from package design to retail distribution. Clients served include a “who’s who” list of U.S. Corporations and International Concerns as well as major entertainment companies.
Atlantic Pacific Media was founded in 1986 by Karl and Sondra Renwanz.
