CD R Duplication

The CD-R (Compact Disc-Recordable) is a variation of the compact disc that is highly compatible with standard CD readers/players and is available over-the-counter in many brands. CD R duplication refers to the process of using towers of ‘burners’ (recording units) to take the information stored on a CD-R disc, usually consisting of audio files, text files, or visual files, and duplicating the information over and over again on to any number of new CD-Rs. Each disc then contains the exact information that was contained on the original CD-R. Since CD R duplication is a time-consuming process, most large scale CD-R duplication projects are handled by firms or companies who specialize in multi-media duplication services.
