Full-motion Video

In general terms, it implies video display of continuous movement, at a frame rate that minimizes delays between frames (jerkiness of movement in the picture). More and more, however, it is used to mean full-screen video that plays at 29.97 frames/sec in NTSC format, or 25 frames/sec in PAL format.
